Dispatch Is a Star-Studded New Game With Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, and More – The Game Awards 2024

In one of the starrier announcements of the night, Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul and prolific voice actor Laura Bailey took The Game Awards stage to reveal Dispatch, a game with a pretty stacked cast.

Along with Paul and Bailey, the voice cast also includes Jeffrey Wright, Erin Yvette, Jacksepticeye, Moistcr1tikal, Alanah Pearce, Travis Willingham, Joel Haver, Lance Cantstopolis, Matthew Mercer, and Thot Squad — so, notably, a solid mix of traditional Hollywood actors and video game- and streaming-adjacent talent. Dispatch comes from AdHoc Studio, which was founded by several former Telltale Games devs.

It’ll arrive sometime in 2025. We didn’t learn too much from the announcement, but from the looks of things, the Telltale DNA is certainly there, with narrative- and dialogue-driven gameplay.

The game’s recently published Steam page gives us a little more info, revealing that you play as “Robert Robertson, AKA Mecha Man, whose mech-suit is destroyed in a battle against his nemesis, forcing him to take a job at a superhero dispatch center: not as a hero, but a dispatcher.”
